Website Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This policy explains how TM Architectural Designs Ltd ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data collected through tmdesignsltd.com. It is separate from the TM Measure app privacy policy, which covers the mobile application.
We are the data controller for information collected through this website. For any privacy question, contact inquiries@tmdesignsltd.com.
1. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. Through our enquiry forms:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Project location (optional)
- Service of interest and any project description you provide
We do not ask for, and you should not send, special category data (health, ethnicity, religion and similar) through these forms.
2. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry and providing a quotation | Legitimate interests / steps prior to entering a contract |
| Delivering drawings and calculations you commission | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping records of work delivered | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
| Measuring website usage in aggregate | Consent (analytics cookies) |
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Who processes your data
We use a small number of third-party services. Each is a processor acting on our instructions:
| Service | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| FormSubmit | Delivers enquiry form submissions to our inbox | United States |
| Netlify | Website hosting and server logs | United States / global CDN |
| Google Analytics 4 | Aggregate website usage statistics | United States / EU |
| Google Maps | Displays our service area map | United States / EU |
| Google Fonts | Typeface delivery | United States / EU |
| Tide | Payment processing (you are redirected to Tide; we never see card details) | United Kingdom |
International transfers. Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are made under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or an adequacy decision, as applicable to each provider.
4. Payments
Payments are taken by Tide on their own hosted pages. Card and bank details are never entered on, transmitted through, or stored by this website. Tide is the controller for that payment data.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client project records: 6 years after the project ends, to meet HMRC record-keeping requirements and to cover the limitation period for any claim.
- Analytics: retained by Google for up to 14 months in aggregate form.
6. Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure traffic and conversions. These are not essential to the site working. You can block or delete them in your browser settings at any time, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google opt-out add-on.
Google Fonts and Google Maps may set cookies or record your IP address when those resources load.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased, where we have no overriding obligation to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we process it
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing relies on consent
To exercise any of these, email inquiries@tmdesignsltd.com. We will respond within one month.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS and a content security policy. We hold no customer database and no accounts or passwords. Enquiry data reaches us by email and is stored in our business email account, which is protected by strong authentication.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always show the current version.
